It's been more than a year. I haven't done anything with fandom for a long while, but it's constantly in my head. I'm still into fandom (glad to see that love for my OTP has grown so much), I'm still into Heroes (denying all the bad things that happened to it and refusing to see it die without rising to something like its former glory again - Season 4's not bad, you know?) and I'm still writing stuff.

The problem with me is that I create very long projects that I find hard to finish, though I try. I have about 4 extremely long fics of 3000-14000+ words, and they're not even close to finishing, but I love writing, and I hope that I'll get to complete them soon enough.



Apart from putting off fic-writing, I made a dark industrial rock-/nu-metal-themed Sylaire mix. I think I might be making more mixes than actually posting fic - I don't know how popular my writing really is, but I do things to satisfy myself, so the same applies to my other creations. I listen to this mix when I want to write something passionate and twisted. It wraps around how wrong their relationship seems, but everything works right. I'm a hopeless romantic that way.

There have been quite a number of mixes for Sylar and none for Claire, so I guess I thought that I'd give it a go. The songs I picked were supposed to represent almost every aspect of her, the cheerleader, the daughter, the girlfriend, and the girl we all have come to adore as one half of Sylaire.

Filled with sometimes boppy, a little bit sexy, and mostly guitar/piano-centric pop, I give you ...But the Girl, a special compilation for Claire Bennet, my favourite cheerleader.
